‘Gathering Memories’ is a community project which aims to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. This will be done through the sale of Project Kits allowing the purchaser to create their own interpretation of memories through the medium of textiles and mixed media. The project was initiated by a team of Textile Artists, Elizabeth Saunders, Wendy Fleckner, Jane Ashe, Mary Booy and Jeanette Neale following on from a previous art work installation called ‘Gathered Memories’; more details and a link to this initial installation may be found under the History tab on the main menu bar.
